Semi-Custom Laser

Our pre-designed, semi-custom laser Ketubot category offers an original Judaic Art Studio design which is lasercut and backed by a hand painted paper in your choice of colors. Your choice of text is then handwritten to create this semi-custom ketubah. Small design changes can be added where possible and will be charged an hourly design fee. This is to be mutually agreed upon between the Judaic Art Studio and client prior to changes being made to the original design.

This ketubah is much like the Hummingbird Ketubah but instead of the birds, the couple's initials have been substituted into the areas which extrude from the outer borders of the design. Extra design time to work in your initials has been built into the pricing of this ketubah.

This ketubah features symbols from the jewish life cycle and includes a hand written text of your choice (larger than average text size must be approved by artist) and a hand painted background paper. The intricate laser cut design features Jerusalem at the bottom and a chuppah at the top of the ketubah.

Two lions, sitting atop a foundational wall and at the foot of a handsome tree symbolize strength, tradition and the connections to past generations as each new couple join their lives together. There are spaces available for both Hebrew (Aramaic) and/or English ketubah texts. A hamsa is worked into the design between the lions, grapes and flora form a border on the sides and a star of David at the top of the ketubah is centrally set in an Oriental outer shape.

Two trees sit within an eastern inspired dome and a traditional paper cut border. This version adds a painted view of Jerusalem upon which the text is hand written. Different kinds and colors of papers back the leaves in the laser cut trees adding a colorful and textured element to the intricately cut trees.

This ketubah, shown here with a single hand painted paper background, is influenced by the intricate moorish styles found in Jewish art in the sephardic diaspera. This ketubah includes one text of your choice and a background in colors of your choosing. The paper from which the design has been cut is a Richard Bas Petal Inclusion paper from France. Once your order is submitted by email, you will be contacted to determine colors and other personalization. Additions may include a 3 colored background and additional text.

This semi-custom laser cut ketubah also incorporates hand painted areas and some customization in the framework of the ketubah. Based on the Family Tree Ketubah, K178, the bride and groom's parents, grandparents and great-grandparents are named in the leaves and medallions along the sides of the ketubah. Two medallions on either side also tell a narrative about the family roots.

This ketubah features a hamsa gilded with 23K gold leaf at the bottom separating two skylines, Chicago and Detroit. The base price of this ketubah includes the gold leaf on the hamsa as well as a small circle of silver leaf at the top with the bride and groom's hebrew names inside. For any design changes or the addition of different skylines at the bottom, up charges will apply.

This laser cut semi-custom ketubah was based on LK166 and illustrates how building on the framework of an existing design can result in a customized ketubah reflecting the imagery and text of your choice. Featured in this ketubah, is the addition of a bottom section devoted to Jerusalem showing vignettes of various people in doorways and windows in the old city. A 23k gold hamsa is centered within this section. Notice in the other detail, the logo which was designed with the couple's names and used on their benchers as well as the ketubah. Have your own logo designed to stand under the chuppah! As in the other semi-custom ketubot, this can be ordered with one text of your choice and a background hand painted by the artist.
